Welcome to my Web Site. I live in the UK.
Due to the recession, I am currently seeking work following a full time student retraining and achieving Microsoft MCSA certification including Windows Vista. I am currently self training to upgrade my skills on to cover Windows Server 2008R2 and Windows 7 and the latest versions of RedHat Enterprise Linux and Suse Linux Enterprise Server. In previous employments I was a Systems Administrator, specialising in Unix and Linux and their interfaces to Microsoft Windows, but also maintain the family computers which run Microsoft Windows XP and Vista.
To maintain a healthy Work/Home balance I have two primary interests, these being Folk Music and Campanology (Church bell ringing), which I have been actively involved in since 1968. Both of these are highly social activities which have a policy of always making newcomers welcome.
Currently I am involved in running Folk Music sessions in Somerset at the Bell Inn, Ash. During Sidmouth Folk Week I help to run the Folk Music Sessions at Sidmouth Sailing Club. I also ring church bells at Butleigh and Wincanton, so my life is very full.
